Building High Performing Teams

EFFECTIVE INTELLIGENCE FOUNDATIONS Program

A program for teams and/or individuals that provides both insight and actionable tools leading to more effective communication, collaboration and idea generation.

What the program is

Using the Rhodes’ TIP instrument, your team members’ thinking style preferences are profiled. Your thinking preferences show which of your mental muscles you prefer to use, and those that you overuse and underuse. Effective Intelligence put labels to the mechanics of thinking, allowing you to better understand yourself and those around you, and enabling you to consciously adjust your thinking to what is needed for a particular interaction or task.

WHY THIS PROGRAM EXISTS

Knowing the thinking preferences of yourself and your team results in more effective communication, collaboration and idea generation. How we think ultimately impacts how we behave. How we behave has an impact on team dynamics and team results. Effective Intelligence shows you the types of thinking to which you and others are biased, allowing you to better understand each other and communicate more effectively.

Why This Focus Area...

“I was first exposed to this program while working at Nestle.  The senior management team had completed their profiles and it was then rolled out to other teams.  The program opened up a whole new dimension of awareness providing insight into why team members approach problems and solutions so differently.  Unlike similar types of assessments, this program provided a set of tools that were practical and helped team members to use the insight to adjust behaviour depending on their audience and the requirements of a task.  It also provided a set of language that was used among teams to express needs in an approachable and non-threatening way.  I loved the program so much that I ran it with the entire country team later in my career at Energizer.  It’s a game changer for teams and its practical toolkit is a key differentiator versus other similar programs.  I am a licensed trainer in the Effective Intelligence Foundations Program and I’m confident that you will find it as insightful and useful as I have during my career.”
